I began my academic career at Oxford Brookes where I studied a BA degree in Interior Architecture. Here I learnt the fundamentals of spatial design as well as measuring and representing our subjective experience of space through materials, light and form . Following this, I pursued an MA at Central Saint Martins in Narrative Environments where I grasped the critical and theoretical understandings that now complement my work. My skills and interests are not exclusive to a single professional title and I consider my practice multidisciplinary. I have worked on a range of projects scaling from exhibition, set and interior architectural design to conducting social research and community engagement projects. Thus far I have worked with brands, councils, cultural institutions, and private clients, namely De Beers Group, Camden Council and ARUP. &nbsp; My practice responds to the growing need for collaborative and socially engaged work within cultural, community and commercial environments. By layering story, time, and space, I create deep and meaningful connections that transform the visitor experience. I believe that perception of space surpasses the physical; it influences our wellbeing and encapsulates the human experience. Prioritising function and patient well-being at the forefront of the design we focused on techniques to create a relaxing reception and waiting environment. It has toured the UK in grassroot exhibitions, promoting important conversations surrounding home after migration as well as the fractured Cypriot identity. Inspired from the social research I undertook, each text doiley represents an individual’s experience, their story. With intentions to collaborate with as many residents possible we worked with a resident videographer who helped to produce a film that delved deeper into the stories of residents.&nbsp; Aiming to celebrate underground musical talent, the final workshop culminated in a rooftop concert within the estate where we also tested concepts for an augmented reality community radio. The relationships established by myself and colleagues in this project led to the artists developing pivotal roles in the Camden Alive project. Through a series of different experiential rooms (‘homes’) that each embody a theme around pet keeping, the exhibition explores how pets transform the spaces they are in.
